Blaine:- Looks at Sam- What was with all that kissing?
Sam: I am just trying to ensure her everything will go okay.
Kurt: What do you mean?
Sam: After the experience we just had with Beth, she is really scared.
Blaine: No doubt, I would be too.
Kurt: Didn't the doctor say she would be okay?
Sam: Mother's instinct apparently is kicking in, telling her to protect Beth 24/7.
Blaine: Makes sense.
Kurt: I wouldn't blame her.
Sam: She won't let her mom take her either so I am really scared. If it happens again, I know we have to quit because of the heat.We have to dress her in summer clothes for good now. But we promised each other if it happens again, we are going back to Lima.
Blaine: What would you do though? I mean, you can't get your job back.
Sam: I told them that we might need to come back if our daghter can't handle it so I asked for a way to get back into our contract. The board then said that they would gladly accept us since we would have some Vegas experience, making it a way better program.
Brody (Weston): -Comes out of his appartment and overhears them- What are you guys talking about?
Sam: My daughter, I am saying we may need to leave if she has problems again because of heat. Quinn, my wife is really worried so I am going to meetings while she stays with our daughter even though her mom is there.
Brody: I would be nervus too as her father.
Sam: I am. Why, does it look like I'm not?
Brody: No, I am just saying that I would be sticking by your wife at this time. I know I would be with her right now.
Sam: -Turns to look at him and stops him- What did you just say about my wife and the mother of my daughter?
